Re:wair is looking for a Communications and Social Media Intern to help build awareness around Re:wair Studio and tell the stories of the inspiring brands and people shaping the future of circular fashion.

About us

The non-profit organization Re:wair was founded in 2020 and is a movement led by young people. Re:wair works to create a culture without textile waste, where we collectively take better care of our clothes and resources. Through events, tools, and communities, we inspire action and demonstrate that a greener future is possible.

We have recently opened Re:wair Studio in Frederiksberg Centret – a new circular retail universe where 16 circular brands sell unique products focused on responsible production, redesign, upcycling, and circular solutions. Re:wair Studio is both a store, a showroom, and a community space where we aim to inspire more people to discover the future of fashion and consumption. We are now looking for an intern who wants to help tell the story of Re:wair Studio and create engaging content that inspires more people to become part of the circular movement.

As our Communications and Social Media Student Assistant, you will:

  • Create and publish engaging content (including video) for our social media channels, primarily Instagram, that tells the stories of Re:wair Studio, our 16 circular brands, and our community.
  • Plan and coordinate content across our content calendar.
  • Help develop and execute social media strategies together with the team, and analyze performance to improve engagement.
  • Capture and share moments from the store, events, workshops, and collaborations.

We imagine that you

  • are pursuing a relevant degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • have a strong ability to write engaging copy
  • are a “Social Media Superstar” and have previous experience in communications
  • have an eye for design and love being creative
  • are fluent in spoken and written Danish with flawless grammar, and are fluent in spoken and written English
  • enjoy a startup/fast-paced environment
  • are a team player, but also able to work independently
  • are open-minded, flexible, and ready to take on new tasks and challenges, which often arise in a small organization like ours
  • are passionate about sustainable clothing consumption

What can you expect?

  • You’ll be part of a growing community and movement dedicated to fighting clothing waste
  • You’ll have the chance to shape the strategic direction of Re:wair Studio - we’re a small team, so your voice counts!
  • You’ll have the opportunity to put your own ideas and skills into practice throughout the project
  • You’ll gain access to our sustainable fashion & upcycling network throughout Denmark and have the opportunity to meet and work with people who share your passion for craftivism and sustainable fashion!
  • There’s flexibility to tailor your tasks depending on the project’s focus, your academic requirements, and your interests.
  • You can work from our store in Frederiksberg Centret as well as out office on Østerbro, Copenhagen, with flexibility for occasional remote work by agreement.

Preferred start date: as soon as possible.
