Want to solve real business problems while you’re still at university? We're looking for a sharp, curious student who enjoys working with data, figuring things out, and taking responsibility. You'll work directly with Klarifi's founders on real challenges facing an international software company, with plenty of opportunities to learn, take ownership, and make an impact.

About Klarifi

Think of Klarifi as “Tinder for wastewater.” Our software helps companies selling wastewater technologies find the treatment plants and industrial facilities that need their solutions, using data on hundreds of thousands of facilities across Europe and North America. We're a small, energetic team tackling a niche but enormous global market, and you'll be an integral part of our operations from day one.

What you’ll be doing

One week, you might analyze thousands of wastewater treatment facilities to help an international customer identify promising sales opportunities. The next, you might investigate environmental regulations, track down gaps in a large database, or figure out how to turn public information into useful commercial insights.

  • Prepare high-quality, client-ready Excel deliverables, from data extraction and cleaning to analysis and presentation.
  • Investigate regulatory developments and publicly available datasets relevant to our markets.
  • Create and maintain bots and processes related to data quality, operations and more.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, research missing information, and help expand our database.
  • Investigate questions raised by customers and contribute to customer follow-ups and commercial dialogues.
  • Support other business activities as needs arise, potentially including newsletters and commercial research.

Some assignments will be clearly defined. Others will start with a question, and it’ll be up to you to help figure out the answer.

Who we’re looking for

Above all, you’re someone who figures things out. You don’t need detailed instructions for every step, and you’re comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems. You know when to ask questions, but you’re equally happy exploring possibilities and moving things forward independently.

  • You’re studying a relevant subject, such as business, economics, finance, or engineering. We imagine that you're approaching the end of your bachelor's degree or starting your master's, but we're open to exceptional candidates at other stages. SQL experience is an advantage, but you can learn it on the job.
  • You’re data-savvy, with strong Excel skills and the ability to produce accurate, well-structured, professional spreadsheets.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English and can communicate comfortably with colleagues and customers.
  • You’re comfortable using AI tools effectively in your work.

What we offer

  • Real responsibility from day one. Your work will directly contribute to customer deliverables, business decisions, and our platform, working closely with the CEO and CTO.
  • A steep learning curve. Build skills across data analysis, commercial research, technology, and business operations. We believe in direct, constructive feedback: you'll know when you're doing great work, and where you can improve.
  • Flexibility around your studies. Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility during exams and at least one day per week at our DTU Lyngby office.

How to apply

Send your CV, academic transcript, and a short cover letter to talent@klarifi.io. Please include recommendations or references if available. In your cover letter, briefly describe a time you took responsibility for solving an unfamiliar or poorly defined problem. What did you do, and what was the outcome? Start: As soon as possible. Application deadline: November 15, 2026. We review applications and invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis. Questions? Contact CEO Søren Schou at talent@klarifi.io or [phone on the original posting].
